2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR FALL REGISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Parent / Student,

Payments for the Fall semester for the 2024-2025 Academic Year will begin on Monday, August 19 and end on Friday, 23 August 2024 (including Friday).

In order to register for the semester, the payment process must be completed as follows:

Important Information

  • Koç University tuition fees are determined and announced on a semester basis. Fall semester tuition fees are announced in July and Spring semester tuition fees are announced in January.
  • We would like to inform you that if only the Fall semester payment is made during the University’s Fall Semester registration period, there will be an increase (with limited inflation rate of July- December) for the Spring semester tuition fees which are announced in the tables bellow.
  • The annual tuition fee covers the courses in the Fall and the Spring semesters, and if the payment is made during the University registration period annually, the fee will cover both the Fall and Spring semesters.
  • For the annual fee payment option, payment in installments is not accepted. Payment in installments is applicable only if the Fall and Spring semester fees are paid separately at the beginning of each semester (Fall semester payment in July, Spring semester payment in January).

        

Payment Options:

There are two payment plans: lump sum or in installments. Payments in installments are made only through Yapı Kredi Bank. The table showing the bank information for which payments can be made as a lump sum and the table for 2024-2025 Fall semester tuition fees (according to the scholarship rate and undergraduate programs) are presented below.

  • Lump Sum Payment Option:

It is not possible to pay the tuition fees by bank transfer. Instead, payments can only be made through the systems of contracted banks details for banks and payment channels are given below.

• The fees of all undergraduate departments at Koç University are the same except for the School of Medicine.
• We request our students to make their tuition payments in accordance with these procedures in order to make course selections.

• 50% scholarship Medical students who will attend the English Language Center (ELC) will pay the 50% scholarship undergraduate fee.

  • Option for Payment by Installments

Payments in installments can only be made through Yapı Kredi Bank and must be in Turkish Lira.
In order to register for a course, installment procedures must be completed, and installment approvals must be obtained from the bank.

After applying for installment payments via mobile banking, you need to log in to the mobile banking system again following the approval notification sent by Yapı Kredi Bank and provide your approval by entering the instruction for the approved installment payment. Otherwise, your installment payment process will not be completed.

**Payments in four equal installments will be collected on 02 September 2024, 02 October 2024, 04 November 2024, 02 December 2024.

If you have a scholarship or discount, please click to calculate the tuition fee you have to pay according to your entry year.

Important reminder: Installment payments are only offered for the Fall semester and are not applicable to annual payments. To avoid an increase in the spring semester fees, the full annual payment must be made. If you choose to pay only for the Fall semester, be aware that spring semester tuition will be higher as specified in the tables above.

Important Notes for Installment:

  • It is important to ensure that the amount required for the realization of installment payments must be in the account to be specified by the financial institutions providing the loan on the relevant payment day. Day-based interest will be charged to these amounts not deposited in the account specified by the financial institutions.
  • Parents who prefer the installment payment option should do so by choosing Yapı Kredi Bank.
  • Your installment must be completed between August 19 – August 23,2024.
  • In addition to the installment payment plan that Koç University has provided to you, it is possible to use Education / Consumer Loan with various maturity and payment options from any financial institution of your choice. However, the entire amount is required to be paid to Koç University as stated in 1.1 “Advance Payment Option”. Since the internal evaluation processes of Yapı Kredi for installment applications take time, it is important not to leave the application process to the last days.


Other Important Considerations:

The types of discounts applied to tuition fees are as follows:
• 10% Discount: For children of current employees of Koç Group companies.
• 10% Discount: For children of individuals who have retired after 20 years of service in Koç Group companies. A partial, year-based discount is applied to children of those who retired after 11-20 years of service.
• 5% Discount: For each student when siblings are enrolled at the same time at Koç University.
