Academic Calendar

Take a look at the current Academic Calendar.

Starting with the Spring 2021 semester, students will be allowed to participate in face-to-face and online courses they have not enrolled in, in order to give our students the opportunity to participate in topics they are interested in. Students will be able to access the course link only for the live sessions. Colleges may limit access to specific courses through Academic Council decisions. In such cases, the live session links will not be shared in KUSIS.

Students must renew their registration at the beginning of every semester. To renew registration, tuition fee must be paid within the designated dated announced in the Academic Calendar.

Full-merit scholarship students who have 100% tuition fee waiver do not have to renew their registration.

Students who wish to receive their Temporary Graduation Certificate or Diploma (once they have received an e-mail notification stating that it is ready) or those who wish to discontinue their studies at the university must first visit the Registrar’s and Student Affairs Directorate (ELC Z18) and go through clearance procedure themselves. Third parties can complete clearance procedure on behalf of the student provided that their information is sent to us via e-mail (registrar@ku.edu.tr) beforehand.

Students wishing to change their contact information can do that through KUSIS.

Students may take a leave of absence due to a reason of force majeure or prior to taking courses at another institution. To take a leave of absence for one or more semesters, a student should submit a petition to the University Executive Council through KUSIS. Students who are granted a leave of absence can return to their studies at the end of the designated leave period without needing further approval. If the student is taking courses at another institution during the leave period and would like to transfer those courses to Koç University, the student must get approval from the College Council. Students to take a leave of absence must complete all school registration procedures including registration renewal.
